Employee Wellbeing and Corporate Counselling — Edinburgh and Midlothian

Corporate wellbeing

A struggling employee rarely says so

They just start missing deadlines, calling in sick more often, or going quiet in meetings. By the time it shows up in a performance review, it’s usually been going on for months.

I work with businesses across Edinburgh and Midlothian to give staff somewhere private to take that before it gets there — one-to-one counselling, stress and anxiety support, and workshops for teams, delivered by a single named therapist rather than a call centre.

What I offer employers

Support that fits around your team, whether that's one person or a whole department.

  • One-to-one counselling for staff — confidential sessions for anxiety, stress, low mood, bereavement, or whatever's affecting them at work

  • Stress and anxiety support — practical tools staff can use the same week

  • Wellbeing workshops — for teams or departments, on stress, resilience and managing pressure

  • Hypnotherapy for confidence and performance — for a specific block: public speaking, a promotion, a return after illness

How it works

Travel to your workplace, or sessions at my practice

I come to your workplace, or staff see me at my practice or online, whichever suits. Sessions are booked in blocks agreed directly with you and priced by negotiation — a handful of sessions for one employee, or an ongoing arrangement for the team.

On confidentiality: what’s said in a session stays between me and the employee. I’ll confirm attendance to you if that’s what we’ve agreed, but the content of sessions is never shared. That boundary is what makes people willing to use the support in the first place.

Why a named therapist

One person, not a call centre

Most employee assistance schemes route staff through a phone line to whoever’s free. People notice, and a lot never make the call.

I’m one person. Staff see the same face each time, and that’s usually the difference between a benefit on paper and one people actually use.
